The 5 F's

Focus - generally business owners need to be taken out of the day-to-day routine to Focus on the development of the business.
Forum - An external resource with a regular meeting schedule provides the Forum to Focus
Framework - The business owner's role is to run the business. Business Perceptions has the templates, tools and techniques to provide the Framework required to develop the plans and systems for the business.
Follow-up - Plans gathering dust provide no value. Regular evaluation of progress and relevance of the direction are crucial to delivering the result.

HOW WE DO IT

"Perception equals reality" then gives the freedom to move beyond what you can come up with by yourself. We are dynamic thinkers, who push our clients thinking past what they can achieve in isolation. While completely non-threatening in our method, we believe there is value in "calling it as we see it", discussing the reality and then forging forward. We do push the limits.

We have developed tools and concepts that force people to think about what they really want. We capture the results and work with clients to create their future.
Then we encourage the results by constantly supporting clients along the way. Input to overcoming obstacles, assessment of newly emerging alternatives or just plain sticking to the task… It's all easier when you have someone to share it with.

It is fun and exciting. Rather than just working towards the end of the day, our clients become enthusiastic again about what the future holds!

Gaze into the future. When you know where you are going it is possible to get there. If you are just cruis'n or perennially struggling, then every new day is just an extension of wherever yesterday got you to. This is where our real building process starts to take shape. We will construct a picture that you and we can visualize, of what your business (or position in that business) will look like in a predetermined point in the future. Different timeframes apply depending upon the nature of the business and the position of the party we are working with, but we will build to an applicable future. We are not in the business of creating the standard 5 year plan - in fact there is "nothing standard" about what we do.

There are a wide variety of tools and methods to use to enable change and progression. We have used and developed a series of them that deliver an easy to follow and workable path towards the target set for the organisation. This is possibly one of the most rewarding phases of our work and most exciting for the business executive because this is where the transition occurs between what was previously a possibility, becoming a conceivable and achievable opportunity.
Make it happen
The pressures of running a business often prevent the development of it. Ironic but true. Those with the ability to move the business forward often get bogged down in running it. We extract them from the operation on a regular basis and enable concentration on, and completion of the steps required to follow the path developed. A key point to note here, that sets us apart, is that we are results orientated in this phase. If something is not getting done, then with your input we will develop the solution and do it - ourselves. The end result is progress.
Re-evaluate
First thoughts are often improved upon. Sometimes circumstances, objectives and pressures change. Having the flexibility to move with the times and acknowledge when a concept or plan is outdated gives a business or executive the peace of mind that they are not bound working towards the wrong outcome.
